To ensure a streamlined credentialing process we maintain open lines of communication with our healthcare professionals and address any issues promptly. We also continuously review and refine our processes to optimize efficiency and minimize delays. We’ve started automating some processes and have already seen a positive impact!

Some key characteristics shared among successful credentialing team members include attention to detail, strong communication skills, adaptability to changing regulations, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure. Every single person on our team will go above and beyond to “make it happen”. These traits ensure efficient processing, effective problem-solving, and maintaining high standards in credentialing procedures.
In what ways do you support healthcare professionals who may have unique circumstances or challenges during the credentialing process?
We support healthcare professionals with unique circumstances or challenges by providing personalized assistance and accommodations. This may involve jumping on a Teams video call with a traveler, calling training centers to help secure a certification course, calling around to find clinics with specific hours that fit the HCP needs, etc. Our goal is to ensure that every professional receives the support they need to successfully complete the credentialing process and start their assignment on time.
Can you think of a situation where the team took important feedback and implemented or adjusted a process to better serve our clinicians?
Yes! We are always listening to feedback from our clinicians and other departments. We use that information to review our processes and identify what improvements can be made. We’ve streamlined documentation requirements, implemented some automation systems, and overall improved communication. We continually seek innovative methods to enhance efficiency, ensuring a streamlined and expedited credentialing process.
What would be your biggest piece of advice for a first-time clinician navigating the credentialing process?
Our biggest piece of advice for first-time clinicians is to set aside plenty of time to complete all the requirements. Don’t be afraid to ask us as many questions as you need! We are here for you throughout the whole process. Sometimes it can be time-consuming, and we truly sympathize with you. We all understand how valuable your time is, and we hate having to ask you for anything that may be difficult to complete. Always know that we have your back!
