Welcome Back, Chris Leo!

Give a warm welcome to returning travel allied recruiter, Chris Leo!

Chris spent three years as a nursing recruiter at CoreMedical Group, where he discovered his passion for connecting nurses with jobs that matched their goals. After a year with another organization to expand his professional experience, he returned to Core, re-energized and with sharpened skills, ready to help healthcare workers find their dream roles. 

When off the clock, Chris loves to be outdoors. Hiking, skiing, are some of his favorites, and he is an avid golfer with a strong love of the sport, “I watched The Masters. Very happy that Rory won. It was between Rory or Bryson that I wanted to win so I would've been happy with either of them.”

Finding clinicians their dream job is no easy feat, and Chris takes his approach to recruiting very personally. The way he helps clinicians varies person-to-person as he knows building a relationship with them first allows him to better tailor his expertise to their needs.

               “I approach every candidate differently, based off their preferences. Trying to find a clinician a position they’re really going to love is a passion of mine and knowing I could be a part of that brings me satisfaction.”

Like all of our recruiters, Chris is extremely involved in a clinician’s journey from job applications to when the contract is over and beyond. He tailors his outreach to clinicians based on how often they like to be reached out to, “[I] like to get an idea upfront how often clinicians like to be reached out to or checked on and [am] always working on trying to get them rebooked ASAP.”

Getting clinicians their dream contracts quickly and being a support system throughout the assignment is what Chris does best. He does it with such passion and excitement and takes pride in the relationships he’s built with clinicians.
