Tell us about yourself:

I've been with CoreMedical Group for over 10 years. I started in sourcing for a few months, where I gained a solid understanding of candidate sourcing strategies and the recruitment process. This experience laid a strong foundation for my transition into perm recruiting, where I polished my skills as a recruiter and eventually took on leadership responsibilities as a recruiting team leader for five years. For the past five years, I've been an Account Manager, handling client relationships, and recently, I became a Senior Account Manager, leading a team of recruiters and playing a key role in training and developing new Account Managers.   

I attribute my success to several key strengths that have been crucial to my career progression. My drive and determination have played a huge factor my continuous growth and improvement over the years, pushing me to excel in various roles within CoreMedical. I'm very persistent, never backing down from challenges and always seeking solutions even in the face of adversity. As a direct communicator, I believe in addressing issues head-on with clarity and positivity, creating strong relationships with both clients and candidates. 

What inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare recruitment, and how has it influenced your professional journey?

Initially, my entry into healthcare recruitment was unexpected, thanks to a family referral that introduced me to the industry. As I immersed myself in the role, I discovered a passion for connecting talented healthcare professionals with rewarding career opportunities. This focus on building meaningful relationships and making a positive impact on people's lives has been a driving force in my professional journey, shaping my approach to recruitment and client management.

What is the most memorable or rewarding experience you've had while recruiting healthcare professionals?

One of the most memorable experiences in my career has been the opportunity to facilitate impactful connections between our clients and healthcare professionals. Witnessing the positive outcomes and knowing that I've played a role in supporting healthcare providers who make a difference every day is incredibly rewarding. 

What strategies do you use to ensure a successful match between healthcare professionals and their respective roles?

Active listening is a key strategy of my approach to matching healthcare professionals with suitable roles. By truly understanding what candidates are looking for in their next position and what matters most to them, I can effectively align their goals and aspirations with the right opportunities. This personalized approach enables me to create successful matches that benefit both candidates and employers.

How do you stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the healthcare industry to better serve your candidates?

Staying informed about the latest trends and developments in the healthcare industry is crucial to providing exceptional service to clinicians. I  invest time in reading industry publications, attending relevant seminars, and staying connected with industry experts and clients. This continuous learning ensures that I can offer valuable insights and guidance to candidates in the healthcare industry.
