Starting a new job can be stressful – what will the interview process look like? What will your first week as a new healthcare recruiter include? To help set your mind at ease, here is what to expect when you apply for a healthcare recruiter job at CoreMedical Group.
The Interview Process
You’ll begin the interview process with a phone interview. One of our Talent Acquisition Specialists will set up a phone call where you can discuss your background and career goals, while learning more about what exactly medical recruiters do on a daily basis. It’s a great opportunity for you to introduce yourself to CoreMedical Group and explain why you’re interested in the job and how your past experiences could be valuable in a recruiter position.
After a successful phone interview, we’ll invite you to visit our Manchester, New Hampshire office for a tour and to meet with members of our team. Depending on your experience, you’ll meet with a variety of people, including the Director of Talent Acquisition and Sales Development, sales division managers, and even individual members of the sales team. You’ll get a real glimpse into the day-to-day life of a healthcare recruiter during your visit.
While you’re in the office, be sure to ask questions and learn more about CoreMedical Group. We love to share our mission with new employees!
CoreUniversity Training Program
So you received a job offer and accepted? Congratulations! You’ll start your career as a healthcare recruiter in our training program, CoreUniversity. During your time in CoreU, you’ll receive in-depth training on sales best practices, healthcare specialties, and jobs. You’ll also learn everything you need to know to hit the ground running as a healthcare recruiter.
You’ll even spend time interacting with real candidates on the phone, via email, and through shadowing with experienced recruiters in each of our sales divisions. This gives you a chance to find the right fit for your style and personality.
Joining Your Division
Upon graduation from CoreUniversity, you’ll be matched with one of our teams – travel nursing, permanent placement, travel allied health, or locum tenens. With your CoreUniversity training under your belt, you’ll be ready to start hitting the phones and reaching out to healthcare professionals across the country. But you won’t be alone! You’ll have a team leader who acts as your mentor during your time at Core. As a new healthcare recruiter, you’ll also receive mentoring and guidance from your division’s manager, who has years of experience in healthcare recruiting.
The formal training doesn’t stop once you join your division! You’ll participate in ongoing professional development to learn new skills and tactics. Our managers and experienced recruiters conduct workshops to share how they’ve become successful and offer actionable steps to improve your own production. You’ll also have access to our continuing education program, including off-site training and course reimbursement.
Whether it’s a lunch and learn discussion with an experienced recruiter, professional development courses, or online training to improve your skills, CoreMedical Group will set you up for success as a healthcare recruiter!
