Core Cares: 2024 Wrapped

by Mackenzie Gallant

Food Bank

The team at the NH Food Bank

At CoreMedical Group, it is one of our fundamental values to make a difference and give back in any way we can. Every year, we prioritize giving back by hosting and participating in fundraisers, food drives, charity walks, and other activities. As this year comes to a close, we wanted to take a look back at how we practiced this core value in 2024.

  • New Hampshire Food Bank

    • The first fundraiser we participated in was a donation drive for the New Hampshire Food Bank. Being a New Hampshire based company, serving our local communities is extremely important to us. As a company, we raised over $8,000 in donations and a group of our employees visited the food bank to volunteer their time sorting and packing food for those in need.

  • NHSPCA Paws Walk

    • We love our fur babies at CoreMedical Group! NHSPCA hosts an annual event called the “Paws Walk” and Core has been a long time sponsor of the event. The walk is a fundraiser to help save the lives of animals through the NH based shelter. Our employees donated $5,000 to the cause and a team of employees (and their pets) participated in the walk itself.

  • Make a Difference Week

    • Each quarter we host a Teams Week on site at our Manchester office, flying in our remote staff and organizing team builders for employees. During our April 2024 Teams Week, we were dedicated to making a difference. Each weekday highlighted a different cause with a different activity that staff could participate in to give back.

      • Monday - Project Linus: Our staff created no-sew fleece blankets for Project Linus. The group provides homemade blankets to children who are hospitalized so their stay is warmer, cozier, and more like home.

      • Tuesday - Operation Gratitude: The team made lanyards out of paracord to put in care packages to those who are serving our country. Operation Gratitude makes care packages to send to those serving as an act of gratitude for our troops.

      • Wednesday - Be the Match: The National Marrow Donor Program, NMDP, registers people to be donors to help those with life-threatening blood diseases. CoreMedical Group encouraged our employees to register by doing a cheek swab to be in NMDP’s system to help save lives.

      • Thursday - Birthdays For All: We sent birthday cards and birthday videos to children experiencing homelessness through The Birthday Party Project. The Birthday Party Project distributes birthday cards, videos, and wishes to children in shelters across the country.

      • All week long - Manchester’s Diaper Pantry: Throughout the entire week, staff brought in new, unopened packages of diapers to donate to the Manchester Diaper Pantry. The diaper pantry provides diapers to families in need in our community.

  • Adopt a Classroom

    • CoreMedical Group supported Adopt A Classroom to donate supplies and resources that teachers need for the school year. The website Adopt A Classroom allows teachers to set up wish lists that donors can support, giving back to schools in their own communities. Our company donated over $4,000 to help boost children’s education. In addition to monetary donations, employees went shopping for school supplies and filled backpacks to donate to a local backpack drive for children in the Manchester, NH area.

  • Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

    • October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, and CoreMedical Group participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Concord, NH. Just We sponsored a water table for participants to hydrate and refuel during the event, had a team of employees participate in the walk itself, and raised over $2,400 for our walk team.

We are so grateful for and proud of our incredible employees for giving and helping make this all possible. Thank you all for an incredible 2024! We look forward to seeing what 2025 brings!
