CoreMedical Group is looking for an experienced admin professional who is ready to make a difference for healthcare professionals by joining our Accounting and Finance team.
As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator you’ll help keep our business running with your attention to detail and reporting accuracy. You’ll be responsible for recording, logging, and depositing all incoming checks, ensuring accuracy of postings to customer accounts, and maintaining the weekly processing of all IPs.
You’re Good At:
- Microsoft Excel and other computer programs – You’ll be spending a lot of time working with spreadsheets and other software to keep things organized
- Basic accounting principles – Background knowledge and basic experience in accounting is key to your success in this role
- Keeping track of details - your strong administrative experience will serve you well as you stay on top of many different accounts and deposits
- Managing multiple priorities and staying organized – As one of the largest healthcare staffing firms in the country, you’ll be responsible for many different tasks on a weekly basis
- Customer service - you're comfortable communicating with clients to accomplish your tasks
Your Daily Tasks:
- Open mail and pull lockbox reports from the banking website.
- Log payments with corresponding customer and invoice numbers.
- Post daily cash receipts into Epicor.
- Research discrepancies related to short payments of invoices.
- Assist in identifying and resolving account issues stemming from missed or late payments.
- Provide A/R aging reports and billing backup to customers and CMG management as needed.
- Identify at-risk accounts using CreditSafe credit checks, notifying the Accounting Manager of unusual payment trends.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding late payments or other billing inquiries.
- Follow up with clients on overdue payments.
- Confirm billing information with clients as needed.
- Process and post credit memos for account reconciliation and revisions to billable invoices.
- Send electronic monthly statements to clients.
- Respond to emails within 48 hours and maintain regular email correspondence.
- Assist with projects or various tasks as assigned.
